Comment:
This was a mix made by me for a friend who told me what to make this mix about. It begins with this couple who are having second thoughts about their rekindling of their relationship with each other.
The guy (main character) never stopped loving her, but he was so shaken up about the times when they were last (previous relationship) together, and he thinks that he might not be ready for a relationship with her again.
The girl does love him, but she cannot love him to her fullest, yet, (they just entered the relationship again so she needs more time to warm up). This causes tension between them and he decides to leave without warning in the middle of the night.
He takes a train to get away from her to have sometime to think to himself about how he really feels about everything. He spends his time on the train falling in and out of sleep, (and sometimes cannot tell which is reality and which is the dream). He eventually has an emotional breakdown on the train and decides that running away from his problems isn't the answer and that he should turn and face the music.
This is their soundtrack.
(The last track was recorded by my Uncle, and I think it really fits perfectly with the whole plotline. It is the sounds of people coming out of the `L' and the `L' pulling away from the station. An automated voice says "Welcome to Chicago" and the cd comes to a close.)
