Comment:
Weezer are putting out a new album in a few months called Make Believe, so this got me thinking of all the demos they posted on their site only to later scrap and how underrated some of them were, and inspired me to make an "album" of my favorite ones. Albeit an album that's 10 minutes longer than any Weezer album has ever been so far. By the way I'm not going to link to them individually, but all of these unreleased songs and more can be found in the "media" section of Weezer Nation.Feedback:
Thanks for the awesome link. I have 2 cds worth of B-sides and unrealeased stuff that I traded for between "The Green Album" and "Maladriot." I didn't realize that there was so much more out there. Are these songs definitely not going to be on the new album?
After these demos stopped being posted on the site Rivers himself said all of these songs weren't up for album consideration anymore. That was ages ago though, so I suppose who knows. One or two tracks could end up on Make Believe I guess, kind of like the way the "Summer Songs 2000" tracks they were playing live pre-green album were supposedly scrapped and yet "Hash Pipe" ended up not only being on the album but the first single, and of course then "Slob" and "Dope Nose" ended up on Maladroit.
