Inspired by the book Love Saves the Day, an informative but extremely slow-paced history of dance music culture in the 70s, here's a mix of rock-ish mostly early-70s songs (most heavy with horns and bongos) that tended to get mixed into disco DJ sets back then. Well, or at least they could have been. (What do I know? I was in grade school at the time.) Some of these songs are discussed in the book, some aren't.
