Comment:
More strange and wonderful songs found on (or rediscovered because of) assorted soundtracks. As with the previous installment, the cover art is taken from CIndy Sherman's film stills series.Feedback:
Great stuff. The movies do have a way of getting you to pay attention to a song differently. I really liked the way they used Heart of the Sunrise in Buffalo 66. If I hadn't seen the movie I would have thought of that as an odd choice but it worked amazingly well. Also, I read a review of sorts about Lost in Traslation (of course I can't remember where or who wrote it) but it said that the soundtrack conveyed the thoughts the main characters didn't express outwardly. Interesting idea but I haven't watched it again to see if that's the case. Anyway, great series. Are there more on the way?
A good collection of stuff.
Nice selections...and good movie choices!
