Comment:
Thursday nights I set aside time to make or think about making mixes. Tonights mix was going to be-I forget. I had it pretty much planned out but then I found out about my friend Cliff's pain and about the story of Jasmine. So anyway all I can think about is Cliff/Jasmine. So I'm flipping through cds and these are songs that jumped out at me. So I don't know if it makes a difference at all. So what....Feedback:
Beautiful.
Great selections.
This would be a perfect mix to throw into the cd player and sit back and relax. I love it.
I like the tune Chet's singing here (if I'm correct that it's the same one), although I haven't heard it. I've Diana Krall (yeah, okay, whatever -- guilty pleasure) doing it, but I'd love to hear this version. I've got this cool version of Chet with just piano and bass singing I Was Born to Be Blue. If you've figured how to send via yousendit.com yet, I'd love to trade one for the other. Love the Townes and Holly picks, too! Oh, and I'm a sucker for S&G, so I also dig the last track a lot.
Love LOVE LOVE Chet's version of that fantastic E.C. track as well as that Buddy Holly song (it's my favorite of his), the Townes tune, the Gram tune, the Elvis P. classic and that to-die-for Donovan track (also potentially my favorite of his). And yes, the Fleetwood Mac song is a guilty pleasure, as well. In other words, damned good mix. :-)
Wow. This is a well done and heartfelt mix. Another testament to the healing power of music.
great songs, great mix. I agree with Rob's sentiments.
This is a nice mix, it really kinda leaves you in a place of bewilderment thinking of what they must be going through... I'll agree with James the healing power of music can be a powerful tool. Take care!
very beautiful, lovely ones
lovely stuff, Terry. I dig all of this mix, and your sentiments are 100% spot on.
A lovely mix.
Lovely.
Sweet.

Very sweet and kinda mystical. Even I'm touched ... waiting for good news abot Jasmine!
I Like 4 and 18 but 20 is my favorite. a perfect mix.

Good thought and mix, Terry.
Eclectic stuff Hem!
Terry this is a lovely mix, and knowing the sentiment behind it just makes it taht much more special.
Thursday nights I set time aside to watch Survivor and ER, but you're putting your time to better use. Berry nice mix.
Nice collection.
You know Terry, I never commented on this cos, well I guess I must have missed it at the time, sure you understand. And when I got the mix, well the subject was still too raw. Just played this tonight & was chatting to Cruella bout little Jasmine cos her folks are coming to stay with us in France soon. Bless you Terry, I'm ashamed I never thanked you before but well, last Summer was a time I'd rather forget but time heals etc.
