Comment:
A little something for Popkulcher, who recently returned from a scream-filled Spring Break at Disney World while I stayed home making this mix and watching the Surreal Life marathon on VH-1. Da Brat is such a bitch! (but I digress). This mix isn't much of a digression for me -- it's more pop songs with plenty of handclaps, high-pitched vocals and catchy choruses. Does anyone remember that song by the San Diego-based Trees? It was a regional hit here in the early 80s, but I'm not sure it got any airplay elsewhere.
Kisses go out to P the Swede for the Mixers and a piglet to Valis for the Walter Ghoul's Lavender Brigade.
Feedback:
Hey teacher. I believe in what you do and if you do pass it out in showers I wanna wanna wanna wanna wanna wanna wanna have a copy. Playtime? Back to zero now. Mum and Dad.
great stuff, once again, Ion. Everything I know here, I like very much, and what I don't know, I am anxious to hear. Definitely one for our (soon to be) next trade.
I only know the Millennium, Tommy Keene & the Lemon Pipers, but I'm sure this is as good as your other stuff (i.e., great).
What I know is great. Love the Cinecyde and Rutles tracks and Tommy Keene is one of my favorites. And the rest look interesting. Great cover, too.
i can vouch for the high water marks and the christines Rob, and yes, it's good.
Looks like lots of fun.
What no competition ???
you'rre welcome, looking like smashing times once again

Don't recognize much but it looks like great fun.
Super sweet.
You're incredible! and so are all of your mixes! (da brat is a bitch)
Cool stuff Ion!
....the kettle of baked beans is ready, send the piglet.
GREAT mix! Outstanding cover!! Did you draw that Ion?
Suckling sweet Ion.
hawley lawd! *how* did this one slip past me? Perhaps my lack of familiarity with half of what's on here? But if anything, that should be inspirational! Especially since the other half is SWEET. I can relate on your Surreal Life vista. Sometimes, it feels good to leave it on... like the Truman Show.
catchy kitchy cool!! "Tongue Tied" is a favorite of mine, & the whole thing looks full of pop pep.
cool mix.state of mickey and tommy has gotten rave reviews.lots of tom's on this mix.
