Comment:

Made this one for my Dad for Christmas (I know, I'm cheap). He's the most impossible person to buy presents for, so I had to get creative...he likes James Bond-type movies a lot, but I didn't want it to be too heavy on the movie themes. So, I made up this "Soul Surfin' Secret Agent" character to illustrate the theme of seemimgly disparate styles of music, which I found actually work together quite well (spy themes, surf instrumentals, and soul/organ instrumentals, etc.). I threw in some theme-related oldies I know he likes just to be safe. I think it was a hit with him--hope you can dig it.

Looks like your dad should enjoy this one quite a bit - I certainly would. Love any version of Secret Agent Man & Mas Que Nada. Like inclusion of some lesser knowns like Lafayette Afro Rock Band & Manu Dubango! Good job (although I can only hear Sugarloaf once a yaer).

I like it . . . you didnt just take the obvious 007 soundtrack approach, but branched out & made the soundtrack for a better movie.

Boy, this is an interesting one! I like the soul/african stuff you've got worked in there. I'd love to hear it. Let me know if you want to trade!

(And, hey, no borders, I LIKE that sugarloaf song. How can you not love those great echoey guitars?)
