Yes, 10 and 13 are the same song, one in traditional sea dirge manner, the other with that inimitable Pogues flair.

...The 32-year gap between Waits' tracks (7-8) ensures that the differences in voice and sound is quite startling. Like two different artists, or perhaps members of two different species.

...Brian Wilson's new version Good Vibrations, while certainly very fine, just can't ever move me because compared to the glorious Beach Boys-released perfect version, it just makes me depressed.

Sweet Mary, I thought I was the only person in the world who had heard of Tompall Glaser. (Correction, my country-music-bargain-bin-shopping father and I). I'm liking this series. I particularly like the genre shifts - they look like they click well.
