Comment:

The second (and probably last, even though I once again forgot "Shiny Happy People" and "Don't Fence Me In," which bugs me) volume in the series for my kindergarteners. This time, a bit less rock and a couple of instrumentals. Rejected: "Rock And Roll Music," for "drinkin' homebrew from a wooden cup" and "What Is Hip?" for "been smokin' only the best weed." Amazing what you find when you actually listen.

This also looks fantastic. I played alot of Louis Armstrong for my group after Katrina, and they really dug his voice. Have you already played these for your kids? I love that Syd made it to the party, and I'll have to check out those Fats Waller tracks. (I responded to your q on "space mix" btw.)

No you MUST do a third volume!! If only to include th White Stripes ' We're Going To Be Friends ' and a Beatles classic, maybe Octopus' Garden? Anyway love this as much as the first.

Oh, this is just lovely! It's great for kids, and grown-ups too! If you do another one, I'd recommend The T-Heads' "And She Was," Pink Martini's "Hang On Little Tomato," and anything by Louis Prima.
