Comment:

The sequel to the prequel (Rock 'n' Roll Years: 1928-45) A lot of the artists from 'part one' reappearing here to show what they had learned - T-Bone Walker, Arthur Crudup, The Delmore Brothers, etc... More boogie, blues, country and gospel added to the mix... Quite a few original versions of numbers later covered by established Rock 'n' Roll artists (including "Move It Over", which didn't take much reworking to become "Rock Around The Clock"!) ... but more than anything... some great songs.
Enough said.
