Tracks 1, 11, and 21 are all different songs. ...Sixteen years separate the recordings of tracks 2 and 3. Sixteen years, and still no improvement! Ha ha! I kid. I love Green Day. ...Oom is a Zulu band. ...I'm far from a big Sting fan (I own exactly one of his albums), but I think, lyrically at least, "All This Time" is one of the best songs of the modern era. I've always been a sucker for anthems. Of course my anthem mix would be pretty cheesy compared to this stuff. I've been listening to the Green Day lately. I never thought I'd listen to them again after the 90s, but lo and behold...
I love anthems too, and knowing only about 40% of the songs here, I can now go out and search for the remaining 60% in the hopes of finding some real gems. I trust your taste because "American Music" and "Ana Ng" are among the finest pop/rock songs ever recorded, imho, and you chose two solid Green Day cuts. Nice theme
