oh what a lovely day
Comment:
I created this mix to complete the sunshine pop trilogy that began with All I Want Is the Sun and Flower Music. I love music that makes you want to grab your significant other and run hand-in-hand through yellow daisies while chasing a warm setting sun. One day I hope to do just that , and when I do, this mix will be playing -- assuming I can find a long enough extension cord.
Feedback:
Oh what a lovely mix!
I know sooo little here, but the titles look great - my wife with no prompting could sing the Partridge Family pick to me when I asked her if she knew it. She probably hasn't heard it in 25 years.
Another fine tribute to the immensely bearable lightness of being.
Fun, fun, fun.
Forget the extension cords! Someday there will be headphones for TWO in an iPod!! Looks like another great chapter in this series!
As a proud owner of "All I Want Is The Sun", I have absolutely no doubt that this is just as delicious! I don't know too much on here, but what I do know gives a good indication of the vibe. Wish I had the weather to match here.
if there's a pile named Sweden in your home, put this one there, please
This looks lovely, Moe. Re: the extension cord, I've discovered these incredible things called batteries. You should check them out!
yes it is, yes it is... such wonderful fluff.
Come run through the sunflowers in France mon ami, oh what a fantastique mTlange.
Fan-diddily-tastic.
...and of course there'd be vaseline on the lens to enhance the dreaminess of it all...
Looks delightful.
Looks delightful.
I love these sunshine pop mixes of yours. However, I have to admit that, while my wife and I have been together for 19 years (counting our pre-marriage college years), we have never yet run hand-in-hand through yellow daisies while chasing a warm setting sun. I knew there was something missing.
I'm sure this is great, knowing what your sunshine-pop mixes are like, although I know very few of these specific songs (I know more than a few bands here, though).
This is fantastic. Love the artwork also. Schwinn baby!
I haven't heard much here, but judging by the song titles this seems pretty sugary.
Super sugar crisps!
Looks sweet. A few artists here that I never suspected did more than one song - Cattanooga Cats & Critters.
We might as well all pack up and go home. The Cantona of all compilations. Great stuff.
you know what you're doing , and i think you like what you're doing. but what i wanna know is, how do you do what you're doing?
woah. WOAH. the cuff links? I think you've just outdone yourself... if that's even possible. How big is your back log of trades?
Batteries, man. The secret to true love is batteries. And tapes don't skip when you're prancing through fields. Good luck, and nice mix.
Oh, what a lovely mix for a lovely day!
...and give Mohr a gold star for the Kundera reference.
floaty dreamy happy breezy sunny carefree whee!
This is an excellent mix. Thanks for sharing your early version of it w/me. "Welcome to the World of Thursday Morning" is my new theme song!
i was hoping you were still kicking around here... this looks perfect for spring!
Yummy yummy yummy, I've got love in my tummy.
