Appropriatly moody mix for a bad day... The kids are all sick, I haven't slept all week, and my X-Box crapped out on me yesterday. The title is from a discussion group post from years back regarding the X-Files movie, and what line would be a waste not to use in the film. It wasn't. But it should have been... Anyway, Fascination Street is one of my favorite Cure songs, of which I was reminded by the video playing on VH1 Classic the other night (when I wasn't sleeping). I've been looking for an opportunity to use Neubauten again, so here it is. The Radiohead song is (currently) my favorite from Hail To The Thief. Pink Floyd's Animals is a vastly underrated album, which I've long appreciated (see, there is value to having older brothers who weren't into punk in the 70's). The City Sleeps is a nice misanthropic ending. I need sleep.
