TIMES SQUARE:A Motion Picture Soundtrack Recovered
Comment:
Alan Moyle's first film and cult classic TIMES SQUARE was precursor to Empire Records and Pump Up The Volume. The soundtrack has been lost forever when RSO closed its doors. The Marcy Levy (a/k/a Marcella Detroit) and Robin Gibb "Help Me!" track was replaced by the more useful "Dangerous Types" from The Cars, which, incidentally never appeared on the original soundtrack but is important to cinematic foundation.A few other tracks were lost or simply in too poor condition to be included here.
Feedback:
I remember this movie and this soundtrack. A worthy project.
looks damned interesting!
i considered buying this soundtrack alb when i saw it in a cheapo bin a while back but i didn't. (buy it that is). did i make a mistake? oh well. your version looks better actually

Great stuff!
Hi, I've been trying to get a hold of this soundtrack, particularly because I want the song "Your Daughter is One". How can I go about getting a copy, or trading? (I'm new to this site)
Thanks,
Irene
Thanks,

Hi DJ Karen,
I sent you some emails but I think they bounced back to my email! I was wondering if there was any way I could get a copy of the song "Your Daughter is One". I would be so grateful. I grew up in NYC, and this particular song has a lot of resonance for me...I used to have this record on vinyl and I have no idea where it went.
Can you please send me an email at Kittenclaw@nyct.net
Thanks so much,
Irene

One of my favorite albums while stationed in Germany in the 80's. I'd love to get it in CD format!!
Good one Karen. I'm going to put this one together myself I think.
