Not counting "weird music for weird people", this is the quirkiest mix I've posted up here that's actually for someone else, but hey, it's someone who I think would enjoy The Hollies, Wall Of Voodoo, and middle schoolers rapping about The Simpsons. The Spinto Band song isn't to be found on the one album they have out in stores, but is from one of their prolific (and generally weirder and more self-indulgent) self-releases, two of which can be downloaded courtesy of the Crackerbox netlabel. If you like the Spinto Band, the Pennock Bridge Collective may be of interest to you as well, as they were a "supergroup" consisting of all of the Spinto Band plus 4 other people. Sadly no longer online is the Gary S Paxton track (if it weren't for Lil' Markie, this would be the creepiest anti-abortion anthem ever), although you can hear it accompanying this Something Awful flash movie.
