After a friend of mine sent me a left-wing-themed mix, I vowed to make her one right back, pilfering my fiancT's CD collection (he owns all but seven of the track sources, though I was the one who came up with the list -- I overrode his veto of #17). I had to avoid a couple bands I knew she knew, including Billy Bragg and Rage Against the Machine, and a couple songs on this list are not glaringly political. We'll see what she says.
