Comment:

A young bass player friend of mine told me yesterday that he was currently into "Psychobilly". I asked him if he liked the Reverend Horton Heat. He said he was not familiar with him. This is my attempt to rectify that situation. I only have five of his discs so there are some omissions, most notably "Galaxy 500". Last tracks cut: "One Time For Me", "I Could Get Used To It" and "Sleeper Coach Driver".

How can you be into Psychobilly and not be familiar with Rev. HH?

It seems that you do not own a copy of The Full Custom Gospel Sounds of the Rev. Horton Heat. Please drop me a line so we can rectify that situation. Do not get me wrong, you have picked wisely from the material at your disposal, it is just that I can not bear to think of a fan of Mr. Heath's going through life without a copy of the record of his I love most. Yes, I think that you must hear this disc in all its splendor, post-haste.

Saw them at a free show downtown at the square a few years ago. Ran out and got a bunch of their CDs. Awesome stuff.

What a great round-up of tracks - like quite a few people on here, though I could definitely stand to get more familiar with RHH. Time to start saving the CD pennies!
