I made this mix for a friend of mine at work. There's no theme to this mix per se, but it has a loose overall collective theme of just making it fun and bouncy mixed with some downtempo and sombre elements. The opening and closing tracks are slight jokes at my gossiping co-workers. They think me and my friend are dating because we spend a lot of time together at work. Since we have nothing else better to do, we play games where we pretend to be mad at each other at time and flirt incessently at other times... like a new couple. It can be pretty funny just looking at there reactions. Fortunately both of us will no longer be working there as we're being transferred to a different department!

I really like this (and I want that T-shirt) - I particularly like the way it bobs and weaves everywhere. The Mohammed Rafi and Silver Jews picks are especially great; sure your friend will love it all.

well, it didn't take place "shortly," but it was well worth waiting for. loved the M.I.A. track, and that Mohammed Rafi & Asha Bhosle song is incredible! also the entire 13->17 segment is excellent.
