Comment:

I made this a little while back (early September) and now just decided to post it since the site seems to be running relatively smoothly. I heard the first and last track earlier this year from arguably the greatest TV series ever shown - THE WIRE. The really did transce nd the typical cop procedural show.

*VERY* nice mix, here. I love the fact that you've got Townes Van Zandt and Jedi Mind Tricks on one mix!

Great Waits cover and very nice choices throughout, lots of my all-time favorite (usual) suspects.

Dude, this looks ki1ler, as usual. I'm with ya on "The Wire" being one of the greatest TV shows ever made. I gorged myself on the whole series, thanks to Netflix, this summer. Seriously considering getting that box set this Xmas. Lots to love on this mix, too. "The Wire" book3nds, (jesus, that stretch from The Byrds through Sic Alps is GREAT). Also, with the Paavoharju, Stevie and Elmore James. Classic.

Nice, nice, nice. I'm with you on The Wire, although I haven't yet seen the last two seasons. Love 2-4, 7-9, 15-17 and 19, in particular.

Love that 8-11 stretch. This mix looks damn fine. Have to admit, I've yet to see the Wire, though I have heard great things about it. As soon as I've ploughed through my CYE box sets I'll be moving on to that methinks..

Beautiful Mix Salman! I love the changes through the mix- so many directions, but so smooth a listen. Glad to see AOTM is still rockin' it.

Terrific juxtaposition of Scandi artists with Southern rock/blues/folk, and all the other stuff.

nice one-great to see your name back on the list here. had some trouble getting this one to play, but it worked eventually. especially loved the Paavoharju track, and that Rebekah Del Rio song made me realize I've got to watch MULHOLLAND DRIVE again. what a great film and a wonderful version of that song.
