Comment:

I made this originally for my friend but I liked it a lot and kept a copy for myself, which I have been playing all week! A lot of the tracks here are from stuff I recently purchased. The first track is a traditional and legendary Irish folk song. The version by Matmos with Clodagh Simonds (of Mellow Candle fame) on vocals is absolutely wonderful and I'd take it over any other version out there. I got the title from the lovely Byrds cover by the Reigning Sound.
Hope you enjoy this mix: 71min:12sec

That Sloan song is dangerously catchy. One time it was in my head for three weeks straight.

Some fine tunes you've compiled for your friend -- no wonder you kept a copy for yourself. Lovely iron maiden on the cover.
