You're really enthusiastic about the music that you like. You attempt to discover your new favourite band every week. You continually try to get your friends into the music you like, which annoys the fuck out of them, but you don't know it. At least you're not arrogant about it. I still don't no if I am "indie" but I like this stuff.

Bah, this is way too mainstream for me.

Actually, I love absolutely everything here (with the exception of a handful I haven't heard, that is). As for the quiz, let's just pretend I never took it, please?

I'm an indie snob apparently - which makes me laugh, especially as I'm supposed to be way cool too ha ha! Always preferred indi'uns to cowboys though. Likin' the mix too btw.

You're just too cool for school, aren't you? You're pretty narrow minded and opinionated with regards to music (and probably most other things as well). But you're allowed to be, because you really are better than everyone else. You take pride in obscurity. You probably prefer vinyl too, you elitist bitch.
Man, I tried so hard to not be an Indie snob. I even suggested I like the occasional tk in the Top 40. The Shame... Anyway, great mix Salman, I particularly like the tracks I don't know here....

Hey! I took the quiz and I came out open-minded too. We need to hang out. Love your mix. Looks like something I'd make. We open-minded people think alike.

Hey, I'm open-minded too! "You're pretty knowledgeable about music in general. You like indie music, sure, but that's only part of it. You'll listen to any old shit as long as it sounds good to you. You're not snobby about music at all, you just like what you like. How boring. Curiously, this makes you popular with the opposite sex." so I guess I'm not an indie snob. hilarious. this mix is tops. loved the Skip James tune, the 16-18 songs & transitions (all the way to #20, actually) and I dig the Orkestar Salijevic you put on here. with East Europe/Baltic music, I'm always first drawn to the most wildly boisterous tunes. though the slower tracks don't make as strong a first impression, they're often quite brilliant and interesting when given a more careful listen.

Apparently I, too, will "listen to any old shit as long as it sounds good to [me]". I'd say that about covers it. Great mix (although I'm with gobi on the Judee Sill front)

Grrr, I am an indie snob, hate those fucking pizza hippies ;-) and now I'm one of them!

I think it was a loaded test though because I hate reading music magazines and that was not an option.

I would have self-described as old indie fart perhaps...ni modo

Uh, nice mix too, dig anything with Mr. Hurt and Train and Mr. Young.
