Comment:

A poppy, upbeat mix for my friend Rosemary whose stuck in the hospital. Nothing life threatening, but she's going to be there for two weeks recuperating from a back operation. Her family lives in another continent and her boyfriend is busy with grad school, so I made this for her to help pass the time. The last track always puts a smile on my face... especially the video (totally out of sight), and I know she loves it (she told me about it).
Enjoy the mix: 59min:50sec

This is tremendous. Especially digging the Pavement, Martha, Shangri-Las, Fiery Furnaces, Prefuse 73, Kinks & OTC choices.

A very nice gesture, excellently executed. That Olivia Tremor Control track is one of the catchiest songs I've ever heard, and the rest of this mix doesn't look too shabby either!

just downloaded, looks great. strange coincidence: was listening to some recent vinyl acquisitions this morning while getting ready for work, and one of them was a 3-track 7" of an old Bollywood film soundtrack, and track #3 was by Mohammed Rafi. that video is wonderfully nuts.

All great Salman. I love the Concretes-Vandellas move and the St Etienne. (Interestingly, I used that on one of my mixes back in 2004! Can you believe it?)

Once again can't download this. Have rotated wildly in a club to one or two of these tracks. My choice picks would be nos.4,7,9,10,18 and 19.

I had a good poppy upbeat download and a great puffy offbeat listen to this, many thanks! I particularly loved the charged Jaan Pehechaan Ho send-off, but also some of the breathy girl sounds along the way -- and what's going on there in that Welcome song, are they pastiching Strawberry Fields Forever in there, or what? Very euphoric, anyway!

Fantastic! Not a weak track to be found. Can do no wrong with Dolly Mixture, OTC, Goldie, Of Montreal, Annie, FLI -- just to name a few. Have you heard "Rosemary" by Dislocation Dance? It would sound great amongst these poppy songs.
