Comment:

My latest concoction is heavily influenced by musicgnome's fantastic Psychedelic Rock Tumbler and Mind-Melt Listening Station series as well as hemizen's and French Connection's recent stellar collaberative mix "Take A Trip With Us."
A dizzying sonic blast with psychedelic incursion into my cerebral cortex (with a dash of pop inflections) topped with manic primal anxiety is the feeling I got when I listened to those mixes. I tried to replicate it. Please play loud to alieviate your mind.
(Get well soon Cliff)

Wow, this is right up there with the other series you've mentioned. I will listen to this with a preponderance of bass! I love the cover painting as well.

DUDE!! You know how much I love this stuff. So, so great. I missed hemizen's and frenchy's collabo, but this is definitely up there with the gnome's mind-melt listening station greatness.

Great stuff Salman, love the Portishead-Can duo, MBV, Black Mountain (even if that song, inexplicably, reminds me of Use Your Illusion era Guns n Roses...)

This is awesome. Love the Can, Slint, Black Mountain (obviously, as you commented on my old mix), MBV and OTC tracks the most.

I'm in love with this mix. Every inch as good as the mavericks who inspired it.

I just picked up the latest Black Mountain album and am suitably impressed. "Angels" is one of the best two tracks on the record.

Holy frick does this look good! I am downloading, now. And, consuming immediately. Hopefully, I can provide more detailed commentary soon. And, Yura Yura Teikoku...wow, a tip of the hat for that one, good sir.

Oh Yes! This is what it's all abut. Three cheers for 17-19, and Raccoo-oo-oon has got to be one of the best band names ever hasn't it? Or worst, I can't quite decide..
