My friend was telling me how the music of the Go-Go's always gave her memories that weren't her own, as if she was a Valley girl circa 1983. This tape more or less sprang from that. The people I hated in high school weren't necessarily rich, mind you. Other ingredients include three solid days of rain and the CCR records I rescued from my parents' basement.
