Comment:

The idea was to make a country-esque mix without the use of uncle tupelo/wilco/son volt songs (which I sometimes lean on too heavily), and I nearly made it, but right near the end of side two, somehow, without my consent, that son volt song crept in there. Regardless, a good tape for sitting on the porch out of the sun, sipping something cold and swatting the flies. Reminds me of summer (made the tape back in July).

beautiful songs, beautiful title. I think some people underestimate the importance of a good porch. Terrific Cowboy Junkies pick. Just looking at the song titles makes me wish I were at home instead of at work.

If you're out on the porch, you'll need the entire Sweet Ona Rose album (one of the best records ever made).
