Comment:
A DK's mix that I made for a friend who'd never heard of them before. I decided to go non-chronologically and include at least one track from all their releases, except the new live album. Jello Biafra says it's bogus and he doesn't endorse it, so I won't either...I also included some of Jello's other projects at the start of side 2. I rank the DK's as being one of the top 5 rock and roll bands of all time. I miss them...even though I didn't get into them until around a decade after they broke up, they're one of the most important bands in my life. In fact, I'd go so far as to say they made my 16th, 17th and 18th years truly enjoyable ones. :) 100-minute TDK-AD tape.Feedback:
Ah yes... "Police Truck", "Holiday in Cambodia", "California Uber Alles", "Too Drunk to Fuck"... *scrambles to find his dusty DK's records in his vinyl collection* Nice mix.
Bless you for putting "This Could Be Anywhere" and "Moon Over Marin" on here.
Ever heard any of his Spoken Word material? Very interesting.
