Comment:
made this about 1.5 hours before i left for texas to see b+s and cornershop. my country/insurg.country/c+w/goddamnedcetera knowledge is modest, but i like a few things quite a lot. so, i went to the trouble to make something with that twangy-mayo feel for a trip into the heat, without being to genre-needy and using songs/bands that would appeal to my perhaps not-so-full-on-country cohorts. there is a decent mix of folk, rock, country swing, and whatever-country artists, i just picked some songs that melted well. a note: sometimes i can't help putting a mix of uncle tupelo and it's derivatives on some of my mixtapes, this one especially. so, no yelling, it's out of my hands.Feedback:
