Comment:
Volume 10 in the continuing Chris/Jonathan/Stuart exchange deal. The CJ in question is the character from The West Wing. Fans of the show will be familiar with the scene in which she lip-synchs to the vocals of track 24 of this disc. Ever since seeing that episode of WW, I'd been trying to get hold of The Jackal in some format. A Ministry of Sound compilation featured this ace remix of it. I even got the CD free thanks to my friend Phil, who worked on Ministry magazine here in the UK until its demise. Scattered throughout this mix (on tracks 2, 9, 12, 19 and 23, to be precise) is a buildup to track 24, with clips from that WW episode - various characters discussing the fact that CJ is about to do her party piece. The other oddity on the mix is track 22, poems by Spike Milligan performed at a tribute event for the late, great man. Enjoy!
Feedback:
Classic episode, I'd give my left arm to see it again just for CJ's Jackal. Charlie needs more airtime, I love that boy. "My love for Zoey knows no bounds..." And what the hell happened to Ainsley?
