Comment:

This is actually a 2cd mix... I didn't want to re-enter the information after realizing you can't submit SIDE 2 on a CD ix. Just a variation on a recent mix... putting it here so I can print the tracklisting out. This is 1 of 2 cds I'm making for a friend who just moved to Albuquerque, NM. I figured she needed to hear a few Shins tracks, since they used to be locals. If you like the Shins, check out Matt Pond PA's "Green Fury" or "Nature of Maps" albums. The cover of Uncle Tupelo's "black eye" is by me (this is for a friend who used to see me play live in college, so I'm not COMPLETELY pushing my music on her).

Doug Martsch is the lead singer/guitar guy for Built to Spill. Mali Music is a side project from Damon Albarn (Blur). Latyrx are just insanely good. Check them out if you like Blackalicious.

Hilarious, isn't it? Every time I see that picture, I laugh. Ninjas with submachine guns...
