Comment:
This is a mix that I've been wanting to make for a while, since I graduated from a small liberal arts college this past May. It features the kind of rock music that I presume college radio DJs have been playing for the past few decades. Some of the songs here are taken from my favorite records that have come out in the past four years, during my tenure as a college radio DJ, and pretty much everything here is music that I got into during my college days.I looked up the word "heady" in the dictionary and it turns out that it can mean either "intellectual" or "intoxicating"--appropriate since I could use either or both of those words to describe most of these songs... I'm really happy with this mix. Some of the transitions are a bit obvious, but I think I think I worked some nifty ones in there too. I love every single one of these songs and don't listen to most of them nearly as much as I'd like to. Now, if I only had a tape player in my car I could listen to them a lot more.
