My annual Holiday comp, edition of 50 in full-packaging.
A 2-disc extravaganza, one behavior per disc! (see other entry for 'NAUGHTY'
80 minutes: 37 tracks (some are brief audio clips, some are longer sketch/song type things..).
A spirited ramble, incorporating unexpected, but welcomed surprises from Futurama, Dexter's Laboratory, Olive, the Other Reindeer and big doses of SNL among others.
To my knowledge, the only place to find The Honeydrippers song included here was to tape their SNL performance from 1985!
As the years go by, this is alternately a difficult and joyous listen. Stockpiled are a number of sorta-less obvious yet hiply goofy modern standards (Wings, Billy Squier, Corey Hart, Redd Kross), combined with some slightly more fringe which have become personal faves (The Hentchmen, Groovie Ghoulies, Nicole Blackman, Young Fresh Fellows, Flat Duo Jets, Tori..). Of course, they ALL had certain meaning upon the compilation-launchpad some 4 seasons ago...
