Comment:

*Ahem* FANTOMAS The Devil Rides Out- From "The Director's Cut," an album of covers of movie music...tell me there isn't a cool opening track anywhere. PROPELLERHEADS Velvet Pants- One of the best bands within this genre, whatever it is (it includes Crystal Method and Chemical Bros, whatever it is)...great song. MOTORHEAD I got Mine- Relatively unknown Motorhead song, Lemmy is downright cuddly on this tune. BUCK OWENS Tiger By THe Tail- Never mind Hee-Haw, Buck is the shit as far as country troubadors are concerned. He's also one hell of a guitarist. BIKINI KILL I Like Fucking- saw this song on someone else's tracklist, thought it was a cool title, so I downloaded it. I liked it, so here it is. SQUEEZE Another Nail For My Heart- One of the greatest pop bands of all time, my second favroite song by them. ROY CLARK Thank God and Greyhound- Same as Buck, but this guy can play fucking EVERYTHING. Saw him live last year, worth every penny. BEN FOLDS FIVE One Angry Dwarf- Who doesn't like Ben Folds? The guy's a fucking genius. Period. WESLEY WILLIS I Whipped Spider-Man's Ass- RIP, big fella. You were the rock and roll. You were a good singer. MONKS- Drugs In My Pocket- First heard this on a K-Tel album, the Canadian version of "Full Tilt," believe it or not. FZ & JEAN-LUC PONTY King Kong- Wow. Just wow. TOM WAITS Hang On ST. Christopher- The second TW song I ever heard, still a goodie. It was this one or his original "Downtown Train," but this disc called for a little extra weirdness. TOOL Forty-Six and 2- Best prog band working today, don't try arguing with me, and I repeat, after Mike Patton, Maynard James Keenan is the best vocalist around. HENRY ROLLINS AND THE HARD-ONS- Let There Be Rock- Cover tune of the AC/DC classic. Neat-O. PIXIES Debaser- Continuing my series of non-Fight Club related Pixies tunes here on AOTM. SOUNDGARDEN Girl U Want- Cover of the Devo tune. Nothing spectacular, but it's solid and rather faithful to the original. HOUSE OF PAIN On Point- A Guilty Pleasure song. Sue me, I'm gonna be 34 next month and I still like HoP. Woop. TOM JONES Delilah- I like Tom Jones too, I suppose that makes me an oddball. Cope. THE WHO A Quick One WHile He's Away- Always liked this song, ever since I saw "The Kids Are Alright" in highschool. PLus everyone else is putting it on their mixes, and I didn't wanna feel left out. Enjoy. Comments and criticism welcome, but likely to be ignored.
