Title from the Big Maybelle tune.Feedback:
Love the Big Maybelle, George Clinton and The Cramps!
This looks great. I absolutely adore the Beat Happening and Eno tunes that you picked.
whole lotta of stuff I like, lotta stuff I don't know but would like to...
Give it up for Big Maybelle!
Jayne Mansfield, Cramps, Big Maybelle, Eno and Ian Dury & The Blockheads on the same mix whoa
Cool shit all round. Durwood DouchT, mmm.
Cool! I like that Jim's Big Ego track.
great eclectic mix. I love the beat happening, Ian Dury & Cramps icks especially
This is so great! Nice and eclectic indeed - love the Cramps, Eno and Ian Dury. I have to admit that there are a few bits and pieces I don't know here, but overall it looks really nice!
Pretty much ditto Sport- I'm kinda in the dark but it looks a corker...
Lots of cool picks throughout. Fun Big Daddy tune also.
Nice one Jenny (at least what I know, which is only bout a quarter) That's one of my fave. Ian Dury tunes though.
Well - it was put together for someone very knowledgeable about music (DJ Lunch Boy, who introduced me to this site - thanks DJLB!), and I was trying to impress him by including stuff I thought he might not have heard of. Hence the higher than usual obscurity quotient.
Put me down for what Mohr said...he has a knack.
There is a high obscurity quotient, however, I would imagin this works very well. I'm just about to go check out Big Maybelle based on this.
Hurray for google!Wow, how on earth did I not know about Big Maybelle? Helluva story and helluva voice. It's going straight into my amazon basket! Thanks
Haven't heard that Treniers cut, but it shore sounds good! Love much else here. Nice job as usual.
I am really impressed with this one, Jenny. You've got the lead-off homer with the Tinklers (YES!!), and keep scoring with that run on 4 - 9 (Moxy Fruvous!) and 12 - end, too. Very nice!
Wow! Jayne Mansfield to Big Maybelle.... That takes courage. Looks like the rest must be a lotta fun too.
Ever excellent Jenny!
Big Maybelle, Big Daddy, Big Ego & a big big sound, I bet. The ones I don't know here all look intriguing -- "bunch of authors", is that a namedropping song?
Let's be music geeks!

Outstanding! Could you send me this one to complete the trilogy?
very cool. loving that cramps selection a lot.
Beat Happening and Ian Dury - together at last! Kewl.
I've done a lot of research on this now. If you are interested, I would love to trade . . . .
