Comment:

Just playing with my music collection between bouts of shoveling.

Thanks to TNG for "Lilting," to hemizen for "Don't You Feel My Leg," to MacDonald12 for "Never Be Anyone Else but You," and to both Nest of Vipers & lostinthemix for "Rum and Cola" (two mixes, two contexts, two different experiences of the same Andrews Sisters song - and ain't that what mixes is all about?)

Wow, this looks really, really great. Bongwater, Big & Rich and the Andrew Sisters on the same mix can't be anything but good.

Love the Harry Gibson (it's been twenty years since I've heard that song), Raymond Scott, and the Andrews Sisters (another one I haven't heard in ages). I dig the "all over the board"-ness of this mix.

yeah! a quoi me plait . . . 3 mustaphas & skid-dat-de-dat . . .
I can't fathom what Wanda Landowska is doing at this party, but I'm sure it makes sense when you hear it - maybe you put some benzedrine in her ovaltine?

Joey, I realized that I virtually never put any classical in my mixes (unless you count Gilbert & Sullivan) and I'm attmpting to rectify that. I tried to get some Hildegard von Bingen in here & just couldn't make it fit, but the Bach goes well with Rasputina.

This is what I like: mixes that mix things up! Different genres & time periods. A lot of my favorites here too. I haven't included any classical either; maybe this will inspire me too.

Ya done a good thing here, Jen. A big thumbs-up for World Inferno Friendship Society (somehow it's good to know there are others who have heard them...)!

Also good to see that Oh-OK has found a good home. Thanks again for the trade!
