Comment:

What's a New England audiophile to do when she's sent home due to weather yet again? Why, make a mix, what else? Title from the Buzzcocks, of course. Thanks to Joey de Vivre for "Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven, but Nobody Wants to Die," which is currently near the top of my favorite songs EVER list (updated hourly).

I'd love to hear 11. I'm a big Bigard fan! This looks as sublime (in an earthy, fucked-up kind of way) as always.

Another great one. SCotS doing "The Great Atomic Power"? Wow! And any mix including a track by the mighty African Head Charge is a winner in my book. Hats off.

Works for me especially 8,13,20 but most of all as Mohr so rightly says, "The Mighty African Head Charge."

One of my favorite Louis Jordan songs and also a fave from Junior Brown. Lots to like here.

yeah, I love that Ellen McIlwaine tune too, whooping it up & some true philosophy at the same time, a rare combination -
And, speaking of rare combinations, how about Bud Poweel & the Cramps!
This mix makes me want to ask if you've caught your breath yet from the last round of trades & might be about ready for another?
