Comment:
What's a New England audiophile to do when she's sent home due to weather yet again? Why, make a mix, what else? Title from the Buzzcocks, of course. Thanks to Joey de Vivre for "Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven, but Nobody Wants to Die," which is currently near the top of my favorite songs EVER list (updated hourly).Feedback:
This looks very cool. A very special hats off to your Buzzcocks, Shins, Nina, NRBQ, Cramps, Ian Dury & Soul Survivors picks.
I'd love to hear 11. I'm a big Bigard fan! This looks as sublime (in an earthy, fucked-up kind of way) as always.
I started scolling down the artist's and was thinking this is really cool and then I saw who made the mix and I shoulda known.
Yeowsir! This one is sure to be a crowd pleaser ... starting here!
lovely
Another great one. SCotS doing "The Great Atomic Power"? Wow! And any mix including a track by the mighty African Head Charge is a winner in my book. Hats off.
It all looks good but apecial kudos for the Hildegarde von Bingen.
Yah Jenny, looks cool indeed.
The Count with nothing to count though... Poor, sad obssesive/compulsive bastard.

I'm liken' this a lot. So many cool picks... Ellen McIlwaine, African Head Charge, Cramps, Soul Survivors, Buzzcocks, Bud Powell, etc, etc.
great looking mix and would like to have it one day....that ellen has been my favorite since the 70s. more so since i've moved to the rather churchy midwest! it was actually jimmie rogers who wrote it and still haven't heard his version!!!
Great stuff!
Works for me especially 8,13,20 but most of all as Mohr so rightly says, "The Mighty African Head Charge."
One of my favorite Louis Jordan songs and also a fave from Junior Brown. Lots to like here.
yeah, I love that Ellen McIlwaine tune too, whooping it up & some true philosophy at the same time, a rare combination -
And, speaking of rare combinations, how about Bud Poweel & the Cramps!
This mix makes me want to ask if you've caught your breath yet from the last round of trades & might be about ready for another?

Another corker. Some great song titles here!
nice work, rocker. i think i need to hear it.
Excellent. Love the Barney Bigard through Add N to (X) especially.
This is WONDERFUL - very eclectic and extremely well put together. Too much good stuff to name, but I like the Cramps and Buzzcocks especially.
This looks great.
Another winner! I should probably stop short of commenting on all of these... I'm so glad I found them.
