Comment:

An assortment of bootlegs that have recently found their way to my hard drive. Some of these are little postmodern musical masterpieces; others are brilliantly perverse; all have a touch of genius about them. The masterpieces: The first track, a glitchy hardcore remix of Kate Bush; the 2nd track, a simple but inspired mix of Tweet and XTC, quite possibly my favorite boot ever. The 4th track, a mix of Scissor Sisters and the Beatles (and a few others), sounds so perfect its hard not to think these songs were designed to be mixed up like this. The brilliantly perverse: Cum on bring the noise, a mix of Dexys and Public Enemy. Drop the Gift, a mix of Snoop/Pharrell and the Velvet Underground is pretty sweet as well. Hell, they all are.

Many of these I grabbed at "get your bootleg on" at http://www.gybo-v3.co.uk/index.php (Look at the "GYBO recommends" topic in the Boots forum for links to a bunch of recent goodies, including at least one of those I've got in my mix).
