This is disc one of a 2-disc set of some of my favorites from artists with roots in the Cleveland/Akron/Canton/Kent area of Ohio. Not all artists are necessarily "from Cleveland." For instance, on disc 2, Trent Reznor is from PA but was a part of the Cleveland scene when he started NIN. I believe the singer (Richard Patrick) from Filter is from Northeast Ohio; they definitely recorded the album in a rented house there. Tracy Chapman was born in Cleveland, but actually got her start in the Boston area.
