Comment:

I felt like making a mix to listen to while I'm on the bus... no more driving a car for a while for me with the current gas prices, which is for the better (I didn't really drive much anyway). The title from the Sunshine Fix cover is appropriate for this one in the sense that a lot of people are yammering about how ridiculous the prices are that they've said they would do a lot of dumb things.

If gasoline goes up one more loonie, I'm going to hold my breath until I turn orange.

want to cry? Petrol is just over 50US cents per gallon here in Dubai - and that is after a 33% increase in prices this week - there is outrage here!!!

This looks great to me. I agree 100% about the gas prices...

Cool mix. Great photo...that's freakin' crazy.

And, as for the gas prices...I guess it wasn't such a good idea getting a sports coupe after all. Two weeks ago I saw gas at $3.09 a gallon...and was excited to get it so cheap!

I spent years taking the bus, and listening to mixes like this one to entertain myself. Living in a flat town most of the week I get around by bike now... but the gas prices will probably affect stuff like my train fare back home. This mix looks like the perfect thing to listen to while passing SUV's on the road from your window seat on the bus!

A riding mix is pretty different from a driving mix -- I like driving mixes but don't necessarily want to do the driving to go with them. It might take $10 a gallon gas to get some of these SUV's off the road, but meanwhile, along w/ Jonathan Richman, "I'll Take the Bus".

Looks really nice - I love lots of stuff on here, and will never, ever tire of that Bunnymen song. The Neko Case and John Cale are also great. I take my music everywhere because I can't drive yet (foot or bus for me all the way!) but having said that, I don't think I ever want to drive - UK petrol costs about the equivalent of $5 or $6 a gallon....

This mix is awesome. I don't drive much here in DC, but when I do, I drive a diesel w/ great gas mileage.

Nick Drake into "Killing Moon" seems like it would be a perfect segue.
