Comment:

Made for a friend, bookended by puppies, and commands a few shoutouts to some lovely AotM types! Namely: Moe for the Aterciopelados, French Connection for the Go! Team and Jenergy for the Django Reinhardt. Thank you one and all.

And who doesn't love being bookended by puppies? 4-8 and 19-22 in particular put the glide in my slide.

Oooh, puppies! This looks like loads of fun, and I'm glad you've given the Django Bach such a fine environment.

this one's full of great stuff, including those Tom Waits, Go! Team and Nina Simone tracks. my grandmother had some old Andrews Sisters records that first inspired me to explore beyond '80s pop when I was just a young pup.

Sound the bugle (or should I say beagle) -- Siobahn's back! Some great eclectic tuneage here -- looks like every decade since 1940 is represented. Well there's nothing from the 50s, but who cares. Thanks for calling me lovely, though I could use a haircut.

Really really terrific. 'Mojo Hannah' is one of my top favourites and pairing it with that ace Go! Team track is just perfecto.

although this mix starts with one of my least favorite tunes performed by one of my most favorite female vocalists, i have to say that i like a lot of this: from the clash to nouvelle vague and mylo, from massive attack to t.rex, and even the andrews sisters and johnny cash! very cool!
