Comment:

The stunningly evil (or is that evilly stunning) Nest of Vipers and myself put this together. Can you guess who's even & who's odd? More importantly, can you guess the method we used to put this together (not all that tricky, but somewhat different than any other collaboration I've done). First one to figure it out wins a copy. And maybe we'll make it downloadable at some point, but right now we're going to be mysterious, as is a woman's perogative.

EDIT Oct 4: Mark is right about my Brave Combo contribution, but Blasi is wrong about the process, and deja_vu is wrong all over again. SammyG OTOH is correct that NoV is odds & I'm evens, but wrong about the process, which is, in fact, the process that Rob C used to make a mix with me, though (per his request) I sent him 40 minutes worth of music & he interspersed the rest.

I like tracks 1-3, 9, 14 and 23, so thumbs-up to whichever one of you contributed each of those.

well from looking at the tracklist, I'd say you're both odd. but that's a compliment! lots I haven't heard here, but I love Maddox Bros. & Rose, the Baja Marimba Band and the Talking Heads. and that's some magnificent cover art there; looks kinda like it was adapted from a Jackie Gleason LP.

What a pair! I can detect some devilish energy in the call-&-response alternating current here, & that Icky Melody really gets to me. Fatal Mambo from the femmes fatales . . . Looks like oh boy joy & mambo fun in Acapulco, all right!

Looks sooper smokin' poodeelicious, you two. I'm guessing NOV took #1, Jenergy posted 2 and 3, NOV is responsible for 4 and 5, Jenergy for 6 and 7, and so on...call and response like Mr. Car Lock said. Love to hear it! ( :

This looks like fun, not going to venture a guess on the method other than I'm pretty sure Jenergy would be responsible for 18.

This looks like a fun ride. I'm obsessed with the song Alabama Jubilee right now. Love the cover too.

My guess is Cruella sent you 12 tracks all at once (odds) and you filled inserted your tracks and completed the mix that way, and of course all your choices had some relevance to the last. Actually, I'm probably talkin rubbish.. Hey Ho, this looks fab girls. Can iavacopeeanyway?

Really fantastic stuff. You two make a pretty killer team! I love the Talking Heads, Ventures and Dresden Dolls, though I gotta admit there's a lot I don't know here too. Still, I know it'll be great...!

"Glaucoma Hymn" -- oh you two and your devilish wickedness. We'll all be murdered in our beds...Good job there's no link, a government health warning would be essential before listening. Great fun, but disturbingly dangerous...

wonderful! favorites are 19 21 24 11 and that completely amazing 5 to 8 run. it's borderline mean to make someone pick a follow-up to the Glaucoma Hymn, which is one of the strangest and most beautiful things I've ever come across at AotM. yet 'The Sailor's Dance' works perfectly by bringing the mix back down to earth, without actually landing.
