Comment:

An offering from Leif Averageson (on evens, and on the left) and Jenergy.
Our early discussions centered around how totally unhip we each were: never including all the cool things that other people put on their mixes. So we decided to embrace our own geekiness, and only use songs that haven't seen the light of AotM yet. We both like this mix, but, well, maybe there's a reason nobody has posted a Guyanan Steel band playing Handel to the site before.

Downloadable for your edification and enjoyment.

Title from The Red Elvises.

A Guyanan Steel Band playing HSndel actually sounds like the hippest thing ever to me. Not sure what that says about me, though.
I know precious little here, but can't wait to change that. Looks great.

That's strange, mah, spendspace doesn't require registration. You should get a page saying you have an file waiting for download, and you have to scroll about half way down the page to a vibrate-y red arrow, and click the link.

Looks like this will fit right into the Christmas bowl of nuts. Quite the festive selection box here. And now, I'll stop mixing me metaphors and say well done to you both, you "nutty" rogues. Have a good yule-time thingy.

If this is geeky, then I'm a mega-geek. But then, everyone knows that. Dig it!

I was going along as usual, marking my favorites (no. 4, no. 5, no. 13...) and then suddenly at track 16 you guys shot up to the moon and just stayed there. a real treat, especially the Comedian Harmonists and R.D. Burman. 'How Wondrous and Great,' to quote an old Mormon hymn.
