Comment:

It's back and once again proves "the kids are alright!"
This version of "Lotus" differs from the prior effort, three-plus years ago, in that every band was contacted and approved their track's inclusion and for that I'm grateful to each of them; some old friends (Michael Padilla of Dora Flood; Oyvind Holm of Deleted Waveform Gatherings-his new band;Jorn and Rainbow Quartz newest band-Dog Age); and many new ones...
One could assert, and meet with little argument of any merit, we are in one of the greatest periods of sustained "psychedelia" as claimed by all the above bands and many, many more (!), since the 60s. In point of fact this period has lasted longer. Pass on the Bufo Juice and give these artists some of that discerning attention; most are flying under the radar all 'round the globe-from Italy, (represented twice), to Peru, Norway, (three!),and Israel, the UK,the US,and an Englishman living in Spain.
Viva Psychedelia!

aaaaah, it's Mr. Toad's Wild Ride! Little magic mushrooms of music: I can easily believe that this would feed my head but that's totally based on your past track record, my interactive amigo, 'cause these cuts are all completely new news to me. Hope to hear it some day 'cause I'm sure it's boffo Bufo . . .

The original Lotus was mindblowing, and now the sequel is here to blow whatever's left. Don't know a whole lot here, but with the Valis seal of approval, I know this is 100 percent psychedelicious! Love the strange flowers on the cover.

An astonishing mix, oh vast active one. Terence would be most proud. Can't say I know anything on here, but that makes me all the more anxious to hear it. The joy is in the discovering. A cerebral journey of epic proportions, no doubt. Hard work has it's rewrads, and I am sure many rewards are to be found herein.

MoTW

I can say I know 6 of these artist (many of them due to your influence). I fortell a number of new artists entering my listening queue very soon. This is off the charts amazing. And, the fact that you received the artist's blessing...I mean, how many mixers can say the same? Anyone? Anyone?

I feel like I arrived late to the theatre and the SOLD OUT! notices are screaming at me. But have no fear, it's more than I deserve. I'm sure this is amazing -- no really, I am. It's a valis mix after all.

Kudos to FC for going forward and making the correct choice.Would have made the same choice, but as I've already had the privelage of acting as MoTW Editor within the last few months, I thought it would be in poor taste to take that honor again so soon.BTW, The Brian Jacket Letdown is just a great name for psych band!!!

I missed this one too when it was first posted! Apologies for that and congratulations for getting MotW - you very, very much deserve it and this looks absolutely wonderful. And getting all the artists' approval is worthy of a standing ovation, methinks! :)

Valis, friend, you've just set the bar impossibly high. You've cut the facets of a perfect diamond that stands self-illuminated in space, something of legend that was perfect from the moment of it's birth! Allow me to add my applause to the rest of the comments here.
