Comment:

Akih. Indeed. (I showed none of that last night- early this morning as I was test-driving the tracklist....,the local gendarmerie were sent to seek out the location of the sonic disturbance causing much sleeplessness by the neighbors. Not sure if I'll tell my wife, she's "outta' town"...VOLUME! Give me more VOLUME!!!)
So, the seal of approval has been granted....authority figures & the "Lawrence Welk set" hate it.

What I hate is not being familiar w/those Marley and T.Rex songs! (or most of the rest of this, a deficiency you might easily remedy ;-)

Hmmmm. While the wife's away, Valis will play. Can't say I'm familiar with a lot of this, although I have heard of that Beetles group. Anything meant to be played at #10 on the dial can't be bad.

Hmm. Looks mighty tasty indeed, my honored friend. And the inclusion of one of my fave Dub Syndicate in this weird surrounding makes this a must-have anyway. You got the address. :)

The word 'tracks' somehow fell thru in the message below, but I still think this is brilliant.

This looks really excellent, valis. I'm actually grooving on "His Satanic Majesties 7th Request" right now. Good stuff. Can you throw this on my pile, my friend? :)

I'm sure the Lawrence Welk set would love this if they gave it half a chance. Me, I love it on spec and implore you to feed the mailbox. (Love the Crime & the City Solution and Beatle cuts by the way.)

Very fine indeed. Add my name to the list of my esteemed colleagues who also desire this piece of work. Tell the local gendarmerie to stuff it and pee on their lawns. Oh yeah, you gotta tell me where you found the Mogollar.

Alright, so I have this in the stereo, volume up to 10 as suggested and I'm really, really enjoying it. Waiting for the nosey neighbors two houses down (who, as luck would have it, have a son who's a police officer) to call the cops...nothing. Try opening more windows...still nothing. Walk outside and it appears as if they're not home. Shit! That's it, I can't wait any longer, I'm gonna slap this CD in a boom box, drive down to the local police station and blast it in the lobby. That should get me arrested...I must get arrested...thx valis...

An eclectic mix. My favourite kind. I trust/hope you will be able to find something interesting and suitably tradeworthy amongst my mixes in order that I might acquire this and a couple of your other creations. In short, do you wanna swap? I especially dig the Bob Marley and Fab Four cuts. The cover is a stoned groove, mah man. Too many early seventies blaxploitation flix, I fear.

A phat 'n' trippy, glammy, whammy, ambient, drum & bass-calating, cut-no-slack-and-make-no-prisoners, ear & spine-tingling concoction of hauntingly exquisite beats & pieces. My pump-up-da-volume flavor of the month. Get your copy NOW! A kihd you not! (Sorry, but I just couldn't resist this one . . .)

This is so easy. Insert and ...volume, Volume, VOLUME! While I don't feel the need to have an officer of the law visit me, louder is better in this case. The highlights are many on this mix with the standouts, for me, being 5,9,16& 17. Thank you so much Valis!!!

Loved this from start to finish in fact it's my fav. mix received this year. Dub Syndicate rate as one of my all-time fav. bands (awesome live too) For those interested I've a fun Akih story to impart. Picture the scene, Frenchy receives said mix & Mrs. Frenchy is outa town infact she's outa the country! Cue volume turned to ear splitting volumes as is obligatory when spouses vacate the marital homestead. My 3 year old daughter & I are dancing like we've been possessed, (not difficult on my part, Helen - said wife, once accused me of deliberately teaching Freja to dance as if she had a learning disability! I swear I'm innocent) when I look up & see the local real estate agent is in the room - I'd forgotten our house is on the market! Exit one real eatate agent & a couple of Brits looking to buy en France! In the spirit of Akih perhaps best aforementioned wifey never finds out!!!
