Comment:

On many fronts the feeling is one of "something wicked this way comes." {"Do you remember me from when the curse became my eyes? I could walk through a space that could lose my face many lifetimes in disguise. Throw on the blackest robes and steal from your brothers' wake redefine yourself as pity born once again too late. I can't stop the rain from calling men to fire off waste---spent a year in the place with an enemy, only faith will see our limbs burn. Strangers came and comfort left, they questioned us who questioned death, the more we gave away, the more they grew. Nations turned their heads from light rejoiced like only darkness might and burst through faded walls that we once knew SIX SIGNS IN FRONT OF ME melt back towards the sun another freezing day to welcome you you've been gone too long my son....." -C. Connelly Detestimony III

Hmmm. I hardly know any of this. But I can't wait to hear how all these different styles might go together. "Sweet Harmony"? ;-)

oh that Julian cope version is so great, and the rest looks good to me even if i'm not familiar with Squires of the Subterrain or Japancakes

This looks great Valis. You squeezed "Moonshake" out of "Excess" and got "Curt Flood." Sublime. Especially love that Feelies track by the way.

This does look fantastic Valis. Wouldn't mind hearing it one day. That's the second time today I've seen "Run" by Supergrass on a mix. Is it from the new album? I was a bit disappointed by their last effort.

Just got this yesterday - listened to it while making/eating dinner (pancakes! it was Xuxu's choice) last night - these are the tracks that stood out: Feelies, Rain Parade (I can't believe I don't have anything by them, I must fix that), Citizen Bird - never heard of 'em, but liked it a lot, Can, Supergrass, Julian Cope, Soundtrack..., and T Rex - and that was just the first listen! So I bet I'll like more as I listen to it again. Thanx again!
