Comment:

Nikki and I made this compilation shortly after I got the car - it was the first one I had a guiding hand in the actual compilation process rather than choosing the tracks. Sadly, this tape is no longer of this world, but I have vivid memories associated with it. I am especially proud of how we fit Tracks 7-10 on Side 1 together and even now I find it hard to listen to one of those songs without expecting the other. As a learning experience, we discovered too late that "Original Prankster" is not the song of choice to follow "Street Spirit" The general theme of this tape was "radiohead", where we specifically chose the most popular track from each of the released Radiohead albums. Other notable appearances include Nirvana (I was just exploring them at the time we made the tape) and 3 Colours Red, who having forgotten about, I was rediscovering after hearing a clip of this song played on Central news. Note: This tape is pre-Easyworld.
