Comment:

I was finally taked into doing this mix by Ion Moe as its been nearly a year since I posted one onto the site. This mix is a tribute to the genius of Mike Alway and el records which is a label I have only discovered recently as they seem to have been all but written out of pop history. el created the soundtrack to a mythical England of exiled European royalty, choirboys and singing public schoolgirls. Decadent and totally self indulgent, they created a pop sound totally unlike anything else.

This looks great. I'd love a copy someday, Kathryn.

Yes, this looks truely fine Kathryn, although I'm unfamiliar with almost everything except the wonderful Death By Chocolate. Glad I could lull you out of retirement. Now let's see some more!

Death By Chocolate are superb aren't they? All the tracks on this compilation are short, spoken word pieces about things that evoke certain colours. I couldn't pick just one because they are all superb and work well scattered throughout the mix!
