Comment:
Saw an intruiging mix posted last week, with 74 songs of one minute or less. So I ripped off the idea, but, unless I wanted nothing but early Wire, Guided by Voices, and Minutemen, felt unduly restrained by the minute limit. I found that by expanding the outer limits to about 1:40, I could traverse a surprisingly diverse swath through my collection. Ended up picking up a lot of tunes I don't ordinarily hear or include on many mixes; not necessarily the best tracks by any of these artists, but, hey, in 100 seconds you're already on the next track. (Had to select cassette format to get enough spaces for the tracklist, but this a single 80-minute cdr.)
