Comment:

This is the third in the songs-from-the-seventh-floor series and reflects the mood of Sunday evenings, which, I find, can be even more still than the afternoons. The tone of this one is, for the most part, more heavy and melancholy than the other one, because of the dusk of the evening...and the feeling that the weekend is well and truly over. As such there are is also more reliance on rhythm and instruments which are heavier than guitar or piano. Hence the Interpol, which I think is really a beautiful song, and just begged to be the last track. I had room for more tracks, but I felt like I would have been overdoing it, you know? The title is from the Turin Brakes track.
