Comment:
"Don't panic, Captain Mainwaring!" Cliched, perhaps, but what I often think when I start to get worried about exams, essays etc which are all coming up around this time of the year. So just to ensure that I don't, indeed, panic, I made this to play over and over again while I'm studying... Not many tracks, because I couldn't fit any more onto the CD, but it was just all about the atmosphere. And considering what I am faced with, I thought the Belle and Sebastian very appropriate! :)
Feedback:
DJ Shadow is my God. Anyways, exxcellent pick of his. All your other tracks are great choices, too.
Thought the title would be a Dad's Army reference. Great mix.
This looks great, very atmospheric. I love the Air, DJ Shadow and Cinematic Orchestra tracks.
oddly enough i listen to every single song listed above when i get stressed. it's tops but now i must come up with another idea for a mix.
My exam routine involved putting down all my books and notes 20 minutes before the exam and listening to a few choice relaxing albums/mixes right until I opened the exam booklet. It always put me in a great headspace. Anyway, kudos for a great downtempo mix: Tortoise, DJ Shadow, Air, yay!
Would go down lovely with a pint and a spliff..... now, when was that exam?
