Comment:
This is for a trade with heatherspace. It began life as really ethereal and ambient, and the overriding tone of it is still very slow and relaxed. However, while compiling it I realised that there were a few tracks included which also had a sort of shiny / jangly / twinkly recurring theme, which perhaps detracted slightly from the "chill" factor, but which I still wanted to include, so I decided to create a balance between the smooth and the twinkly, so to speak! The overall effect, on listening, reminded me of a jewellery box, and, of course, the Jeff Buckley track kind of sealed the deal...I hope she likes it - her mix looks wonderful! :)
Feedback:
Sweet. Lots of very nice stuff.

Whoa, I thought that comment didn't go through. And Dale wrote the same thing! I'm scared.
I'll cop to it, Bear, I copied your post (and added a little). I though it'd be funny to have the same post 3 times in a row. Little did I know that mine would post twice as well. While I'm here let me also comment that the cover pic matches the music quite nicely.
sweet , loads of very nice stuff ;)
Yeah, I think this sweet mix is nice too and you guys are really funny.
Another great Marie_H mix, and a fine recipient too! High Llamas forever!
WOW! This looks smashing. And if the Momus is a Buzzcocks cover as I suspect, I definitely can't wait to hear that! :) Thanks, M!
A Honey-coated mix Siobhan, love the Tindersticks track; - You wouldn't believe the hastle I've had just to pass comment on this mix; have to say I hate the new look of the 'Find a Mix page!
shimmering jewels!
Sorry to be late, but like French I'm struggling, hating this New Look to The Site...nice'n'eclectic with great cover to boot!
I dig. Great Llamas pick. I admit to not being able to dig recent HL as much as the earlier stuff. When they played Seattle a few years back, I spoke to Sean a little while after the show. He's a really nice guy. Nice Elbow pick too...one of my favorites from that album. I'm sure the whole thing is ace. Cheers!
It continually amazes me how mixes pairing music that's essentially acoustic-based can sound so amazing right next to electronic. This mix illustrates that beautifully. I listen to a lot of music at work, and a 60+ year old English woman has the desk next to mine -- she LOVED this CD. Now that's saying something. :) Thanks, M_H! This will get played for years to come in my house...and at work! The Bjork/Beatles pairing is especially brilliant.
